Little Walsingham

Little Walsingham is a wonderful place for a holiday.  As well as the historic shrine to Our Lady of Walsingham, there are the old Abbey grounds with  their snowdrop woods, two pubs, tea shops, one of Norfolk’s best farm shops, and an excellent café and refectory all within 5 minutes of the cottage. If you  like countryside, try the beautiful walks and  woods nearby; take the light railway to Wells; enjoy the  enormous sandy beach at Holkham, or the striped cliffs a little further West.  If you like history, there’s Holkham Hall nearby, or the impressive remains at Binham or Castle Acre.   And  the towns of Fakenham and Wells Next The Sea, and the sea itself, are all less than seven miles away.
